[The camera clicks on to show Feliks, grinning bright as the summer sun, outside near the lake. He's wearing red shorts, a thin white top, and no shoes.]

Hey, guess who's totally back from Europe? I had the raddest time-- I have souvenirs for a ton of you, so don't let me forget to give them to you and tell you all about it, ok?

For the new people, I'm Feliks Łukasiewicz. I'm like, in my last year of college, but I don't actually have a ton of classes this year? So I'm TA-ing for Political Science and doing some other stuff to keep me from getting too bored. If anyone's up for Polish lessons, they can totally hit me up for that, too, I guess!

But anyway-- Toph is lame and challenged me to do the ice bucket thing. She did two buckets, and I figure, no big deal, it's just water anyway or whatever, so I'm gonna do three! And I'm gonna donate $100 anyway.

The Ice Bucket Challenge: How not to nominate someone

[This cheerful man wearing a lab coat on top of a pair of small shorts and an oversized tunic doesn't exactly look like the picture of professionalism just yet, but it's warm outside and so he'll be teaching some of his classes out in the sunshine anyway. He's perched in a window right now, waving and looking like he's laughing at some joke he hasn't yet decided to share with anyone.]

So~o, I figured a bit of an introduction might be in order. My name is Fai Flourite, and I'll be teaching chemistry, biology and mutation science here from now on.

Since I have an identical twin running around the school, it'll probably be good for you to know that I'll be the one wearing a lab coat most of the time, and my hair's a bit shorter. I also did this... [He tilts his head forward and points to a couple of blue and pink streaks among the messy blond strands.] ...to make it a bit easier to tell us apart. Well, and because it looked nice. Mostly because it looked nice, actually.

[He giggles and shrugs his bony shoulders a bit, dangling his bare feet below the window.]

Oh, and I don't like doors much, so don't worry if I come in through the window, okay? I'm a professional X-man with a specialty for subterfuge, after all, so wall-scaling is nothing new to me.

[He tosses his head, and for a moment a number of different people are visible instead of him: A couple of presidents, Julia Roberts, Professor Xavier, Peewee Herman, the Queen of England. And then he's just Fai again, looking exactly like the smug shit he is.]

Though when I do things like that, they call me Glamour.

Oh! And there was one more thing~. Feliks called me out for the Ice Bucket Challenge. So apparently he wants to see me drenched in cold water and miserable. What a terrible friend he is, right? [Considering the way Fai is grinning fondly, he doesn't think so.] But I'll give him what he wants, because I always do. [Well, that sure sounds... romantic?]

-First week of classes are under way. Some people have already come across Reimu assisting various training courses. He doesn't seem to do much of anything but sit on the sidelines and eat and be a human shield when needed. But he has a few things to say, regardless.-

This just goes out to all the new children of the atom who are chomping at the bit to get into training to start becoming the new generation of heroes. -What was with that word choice...-

You all have your reasons for doing this. When I was your age, it was almost out of a sense of obligation. You see, my mother was the Hakurei Miko, and some of you Japanese students may have heard of her. I felt like it was a huge responsibility I needed to fulfill, to become worthy as her successor and fight alongside the X-Men just like she had before I was born...

Well. That didn't work out from me. I was cut from my team, demoted, and forced to start over again from scratch. To find a motivation that wasn't set in doing something just because I felt like I was supposed to. To find my own identity and reasons for fighting.

My advice to people who are still uncertain about things... Find something out there you want to protect. And think long and hard about what you're willing to do in order to protect it.

Well, she has a cute British accent, too. Sounds like she might be from somewhere pretty damn posh, in spite of the seemingly casual way of speaking...-

Oh, hey! My phone can do video! Hoo... um... first post and all. What pressure, right? Anyways, name's Bridget Halford, and I guess we're all a lot of them x-gene types, eh? Cool, cool... um...

So, like, you don't have to say it if you don't want to BUT, but... um... I'm interested to know how everyone got here. For me, well, y'see... I kind of ran away from home. Spent some time roaming Europe, ran into a bloke with lightning bolts comin' out his hands, and he pointed Professor Xavier's way.

[ The feed opens to show a young man seated in the pavilion in the garden, sunlight illuminating part of his golden brown hair. His expression has been kept quite neutral, though those better at reading body language would be able to deduce that he is quite serious. ]

Good afternoon, fellow colleagues. [ His voice is even, with a faint Japanese accent. ] In view of the recent chain of... ALS awareness challenges going around, I have a request to make of you all.

[ He gestures vaguely with one hand. ] If anyone intends to attempt the challenge within our departments, I would like to accompany you. While I understand that this challenge is designed to raise awareness for a noteworthy cause, I would also like to conserve water as much as possible. It is a valuable resource, after all.

I am a hydrokinetic, and have been cleaning up after the few attempts that have already occurred. If I am with you while you attempt the challenge, I will be able to catch the water before it reaches the ground and becomes contaminated.

[ A pause. ]

And I wil be able to dry you in less than a minute's time. If you wish me to, of course.

[ He gives the camera a formal nod. ] Please contact me if you have any queries, or are attempting it. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear students,

If you are intending to attempt the ALS awareness challenge, please contact me before you do so. Water is a limited resource, and should be conserved whenever possible. I will be supervising you to ensure minimal wastage, and hopefully prevent infections such as the common cold.

If you have attempted the challenge and find yourselves down with the flu or something similar, please come see me as well. I am a practicing doctor and can treat you.
