I guess now that everyone's settled I should make a note of this:

I have wolf senses. If you decide to smoke or drink, I can smell it across campus. I will probably patrol once in a while. So anyone who wants to smuggle that in and be the cool kid is going to have to try that much harder to get past me.

On the other hand, if you absolutely have to try it, at least do it around an adult. I personally don't mind keeping you safe while you're doing something stupid, I can't exactly deny being a hypocrit. I do mind having to pull you out of a ditch because no one was there to keep you safe.

Anything harder than that, though, will not be getting past me.

Help isn't the word I'd use. I'm not going to get anyone booze. But if they come clean about it and stay near me while they drink it they deserve some for the honesty.

Smokes, on the other hand, I'd rather offer from my stash. They're not for first-timers and hopefully it'll stop them from trying again.

As far as I can tell the point is to pick up people who are in top physical condition and still young enough to not realize they will die. So I guess you're already out of their criteria for noticing.

Eh, I've had a lot of practice and my hearing is really good. Not superpowered good, but I spend a lot of time just sitting and listening to stuff.

anyway not necessarily. i didn't have many to begin with, and I ran out months ago. if you were willing to spare a few, i'd be grateful. if not... i understand.

[ He'll find somewhere else to get them by winter time. It's not the nicotine he really cares about per se, but more having a heat source he can use to subtly help keep the air around him warm without drawing attention - and a lit cigarette fits the bill. Ok so it doesn't really matter here where he's not going to get kicked out for loitering and has a bed all his own and whatnot, but he still wants them for the same reason that he keeps nonperishable food tucked away in various hiding places in his room and clothing. He's paranoid about certain things.

Me taking their cigarettes away isn't going to stop them from smoking if they've got the habit. I already know that's a lost cause.

And no. I'm not going to share.

[Nicotine isn't even that great on Bigby, nor is smoking a specific crap brand that smells and tastes twice as bad as anything else. But without the smoke around him, the smells of the Institute alone will overload his system. One of the draw-backs of a nose so strong he can sense the emotions of others by scent.]
