[He screws up a piece of paper, hurls it across the room, not really looking at the direction it flies in.]

Yo. I... kinda hate to say it, but... I'm lookin' for a bit of help, here. [A moment's pause-] Study tips. How to get this stuff to stick in your head 'n all that. I ain't smart, sure. I get that. But...

[He rubs his head, sighs.]

[He'd find her already on the couch, with a show already starting as he came into the room. By the looks of it, it was a show about friends trying run a high school club about sewing.

... She'd swear it was a random choice if grilled. Either way, she was humming the theme song to herself. It was rather... cute. To say the lease.]

[Kanji waves as he spots her, and takes a seat next to her, though leaving a spot of space out of sheer habit... and it's only then that he spots what she's watching.

He looks at her.
At the show.
That's ... a hell of a coincidence. (He's trying to hold the shocked sparks back because this is too tight a space to risk that...]

You... you a fan of this, huh?

[He's got the damn manga on his laptop.]

I caught it awhile back for the first episode and kind of forgot about it again until recently.

Heh. Alright. [Just a coincidence. Still, not quite owning up to having read it.] Gotta start somewhere...

I really like the character Koyumi. [The quiet, shy girl who specialized in embroidery.] She kind of reminds me a bit of myself, in some ways, though a bit exaggerated.
