[Honestly, there isn’t that much of a difference to how Feliks and Fai would normally present themselves on the network together. The former is draped over the latter’s lap, and Fai is distractedly fussing with Feliks’ hair. Nothing out of the ordinary for the very best of friends, really, apart from how they are possibly looking even more smug than usual.

Still, their announcement won’t be news to many. Fai is the one who begins speaking, smiling slyly with an evident hint of self-humor.]

So, in case you have been living under a rock or possibly really don’t care about the love life of your teachers - shocking, I know - me and Feliks would like to formally make it known that we are getting married.

[Feliks, who already looked pretty impossibly pleased, has to take a second to compose himself, because just hearing Fai say that still sort of makes him sort of melt a little.]

Yeah, totally! So like, I guess consider this your save the date. And your invite? Since you’re all invited, duh.

--Oh, right! The date. April 7th. So you have 5 weeks to find something fierce enough to wear to our wedding without dying of shame!

It will be here, by the way - this way we can make sure as few of you as possible will have an excuse for staying away. The ceremony will start at 10 am, so we even have a set time like proper adults.

Well, I mean, the whole point of them kind of seems to be like, saying goodbye to the freedom of not being married or whatever, and I totally don't actually feel like that at all? Like, all I really have to say to not-being-married-to-Fai is "good riddance, don't let the door hit you!" I've been not married to him for way too long already.

I'm pretty sure that whoever gets in charge of organizing yours knows better than to add strippers. And if it makes you feel any better I can guarantee that there won't be any at Fai's either.

Yeah, I agree that the cliché American lots of booze, rowdiness and strippers thing doesn't really fit this particular wedding, but you don't have to do it that way. Hell, a friend of mine went whale watching for his bachelor party. So instead of saying goodbye to freedom look at it as saying goodbye to all those sad, lonely nights without him. Or something along those lines.

And Reki might. It'd be an escalation in the prank war, and then the only thing left for me to do in retaliation would be to maroon her on a deserted island, and like, how much would it suck to have to maroon your maid of honor right before the wedding?

And I'm sure Reki can be reasoned with, if you're really worried. Because I do agree, marooning her right before the wedding wouldn't exactly be ideal.

I mean, it'd be one thing if we weren't in upstate New York, but we're way landlocked, where would I even find a deserted island with a single, sad little coconut tree?
