So like, I've been thinking. I know Mutants Aren't Monsters has been kinda quiet lately, 'cause I've been studying and X-man-ing and in Europe and stuff, but with all this stuff going down lately, I totally wanna get back on it.

Who wants to do a flash mob? It'll be super fun!

Oh, and like, my confessor was all like "the Hail Marys are cool for God but maybe like apologize to your schoolmates too" and stuff, so, um...

Sorry for drunk texting everyone! I made cheesecake, it's in the lounge closest to the dining room.

[That's an apology, right? He grins, a little nervously like he's not used to doing this, and waves a little before the message ends. If you'd prefer action, he'll be in the lounge with the candlestick cheesecake.]

The card thing's definitely a good idea! And like, the banner. We should probs have some people recording it from a few good angles, so we can have a good version to put online, too!

Yes, let's do that. If you'd like, I can get a full list of the artists affiliated with my father's music studio. It would probably be easiest to get the rights for playing one of their songs in public.

[She knows that generally this is not something people are too concerned about for flash mobs, but if they can get permission all the better for them.]

For non-profit student projects, I don't think the licensing fee costs much at all.

For sure, see what you can find! I wanna do something way popular, though, so if there's something from a different studio that would really work, I bet we could get people to pony up enough.

[Like video editing. She has no idea how to do that. She'd like to learn because it's interesting. Someone else should probably design the cards if they don't want the girliest designs ever.]

Why don't we come up with three song suggestions each for when we meet to brainstorm? I'd really need to know what song it was in order to figure out any choreography.

My father's studio doesn't have the rights to it, but what about Thriller? If we can have it ready by the last week in October, that could be perfect!

Oh! That'd be kinda fun, 'cause like, we could set up some kind of horror scene first -- like, to mess with the expectation that we're gonna be all scary and stuff, and then the dancing starts, and people are like, "whaaaaat? No way!"

Thriller's such a classic, too. The cards we hand out can say something like "Mutants aren't monsters - we just dress up as monsters for Halloween!"

[She thinks it would be a lot of fun to coordinate the dancing for it, too. Spooky isn't her usual style but she does get into holiday celebrations.]

We could have some safety tips on the back for trick or treating and wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween.

Oh, that's way cute. We could keep everybody in normal clothes until stuff starts going down, and then I could change them to something spooky when they come out as part of the flash mob?

Everyone who's filming or handing out cards from the sidelines can wear something that's either black, white, or orange to go with the Halloween theme without distracting from the flash mob.
