[Feliks, sitting on the edge of a brick wall and wiggling his legs against it, grins at the camera.]

God, I'm way pumped about the concert! Everyone's coming, right? Everyone totally should be!

Also, I know this is super short notice -- I kinda meant to get something together a few weeks ago, but like, y'know, S.H.I.E.L.D, and the school going crazy, and all that stuff kind of happened, so I got a bit distracted -- but New York Pride's coming up super soon, so Fai and I were thinking it might be cool to do something for the Gender and Sexual Diversity Student Union. Like, maybe just a cute group portrait or a quick little "Happy Pride Week from the Institute" kind of video? I mean there's not a lot of time to plan, but it'd be good to do something fun.

Oh -- and, um... [He looks a little nervous and sheepish, playing with his hair.]

Does... Does anyone know a lot about taking care of ponies? I need to know because...

[There's a whinny from offscreen; Feliks turns his head towards the noise, then looks back at the camera.]

[Something is nudging at the camera from the side.]

[Feliks pouts a little at the camera, then sighs.]

{Come here, Magdalena...}

[The pony trots over to him excitedly. She's still young, hardly more than a colt, and he reaches over to scratch affectionately at her neck.]

...It's really not my fault. She was a present!

[Aw, how cute. Flandre's expression softens further. Though she's still going to ask:]

From who? And...where are you even going to keep her?

Um, Ivan? New kid, from Russia? I told him I just got married and graduated, and he was all, 'oh, that's rad, let me get you a present!'

[And then he got him a freaking pony. The worst part is how completely cool with it Feliks is, deep down in his heart.]

I figure there's probably somewhere on campus I could keep her, right? Like... It's a really big place!

...I mean I guess I could find someplace outside of town here to board her, we're kind of in upstate New York and all, but she'd get super lonely with me so far away, wouldn't you, girl?

[Flandre giggles a little.]

I wouldn't be the person to ask.

[Though on that thought-]

Wait, where are you now then?

[He still looks sort of like a little kid that's been caught with something he knows he's not supposed to have.]

...Down near the boathouse.

...is there a fence? I don't remember. Or do you have a lead or something?

[Flandre's thoughts have meanwhile turned from "an actual pony??" to how much she'd rather not learn to catch it. The closest she'd ever really gotten to horses was when she was younger and watched a few minutes of a polo match before she got bored and turned into a fussy, impatient five year old.

She hoped there was a fence. He wouldn't keep it there if there wasn't, right?

...unless Feliks just got said pony and didn't know where to put it yet.]

I've got her kind of tethered? Like where you tie the boats.

Worried she'll set sail without you?

[Flandre giggles again.]

A pony, though.

[And one more, for good measure. Now enough of the shock has worn off that it's started to be amusing.]

I mean, I have always wanted one?

So you take responsibility, then?

What did you say your hooved child's name was, again?

Feliks. You don't know the first thing about taking care of a pony.

That doesn't stop people from having kids! I can learn and stuff.

A kid can't give you terrible injuries if it gets spooked.

It's not like she's a big horse. Anyway, I just won't let her get scared!

"I will be at the concert for sure," [Greg replied with a grin.]

"And I'd be happy to help. Count me in for the video or whatever. If you guys are going to the parade, and don't mind the company, I'd come with. Sounds like fun."

[He considered the rest.] "I could see if my power would work on horses... how did you wind up with a horse?"

She was a graduation-and-wedding present!

[From a near-total stranger.]

I'm not even sure what your power would do to her, though...

[He laughed.] "I'm not sure either! But I don't think it would hurt her. And you know, getting gifts like that, from people you think you hardly know... it's a sign of how deeply you touch the lives of those around you."

If people are just giving me free ponies, I'm totally living the life I wanna live.
