[It's Jun's second post on the network within a couple of days. She'd love to go to someone she felt comfortable with about this and save everyone the trouble, but there just isn't anyone in particular she feels that close with yet. So instead Jun is left to make a plea for help on the general net.

Unlike her last post, Jun isn't cleaned up and her room isn't perfect. She's dressed and her hair is back, but she's not terribly neat. It looks more like she was rushing. She may have just woken up recently, and when she speaks it's very quietly.]

"What's happening around here...? I-I keep seeing all this talk about x-teams and riots and danger rooms.. I thought we were supposed to be safe here. I don't understand. Did I make a mistake in coming here..?

[Jun pauses, feeling like she might start crying. Her expression is much more troubled now and her voice is full of emotion.]

"I'm scared. I don't know if I should be here... I've never fought anyone before, I don't know if I could. I can barely control my powers. I don't know what to do...Please..."

[Jun doesn't know what she's begging for. Comfort? Advice? Protection? She just doesn't know. She knows her mother and sister would be disappointed in her if she quit, but maybe she's not made for this place.
Maybe she really did make a mistake. This isn't what she wanted at all.]

It's the safest place any of us have. I've seen how ugly places outside of here can get. Back where I used to live, people threw rocks at me. At that place where the riots happened, people tried to kill me. Just because I'm different.

No one's done that here. Everyone's like me here. If it's ever unsafe, I want to protect it, make it safer, but for now, it's still the best anyone can hope for.

I was a lot like you when I first got here... but I didn't have anywhere else to go, so I guess I adapted a lot faster. I wanted to go back home, back to Japan, to Nara, but... I wasn't safe there. I was just hidden.

[Just hidden? That's just how Jun was in her home... It wasn't really living, and she knew that. That's why she came to this weird school. She'd mostly forgotten that in all the commotion.]

"Yes. I want to see these 'video games'."

[And with that Jun clumsily fumbles around with buttons until she figures out how to end the call. Now she just has to find her way to the common room. It's a good thing she has a map, even if she can't read it.]

[Kagerou will of course quickly get Kaguya agreeing to meet in the common room. Not long after they get there, she joins them.]

Hi, Kagerou! So, is this your friend?

[I think you mean action, dork]

-Which... of course might have been a little confusing seeing as Kagerou had introduced herself to Jun as "Shadow". In fact, in spite of the warmth in her smile when Kaguya joined them, there was a little bit of a grimace at her real name being used, but... She didn't feel like clarifying. If Jun was curious, she'd talk about it later.-

Yep yep! This is Jun! -She gestured between them.- Jun, meet Kaguya. She helped me out a lot when I first got here.

[That...doesn't make any sense. Did she think it was Jun's name...? Maybe? No...?]

"That's...who is that? Is that...? Shadow..?"

[She doesn't get it. And yes, figuring this out is much more important than introductions. Clearly.]

Oh, um... I think she prefers Shadow. [Here is an embarrassed Kaguya.]

Y-yeah... "Kagerou" is the name I was born with, but as far back as I can remember, only Momma used it. Everyone else just shortened it to "Shadow"... But it's okay if Kaguya uses the other name, but in general, she's right, that I prefer "Shadow".

[Maybe she shouldn't have brought that up. It was definitely a sore spot.]

"A-anyway, it's good to meet you, Kaguya."

[She then adds, to Kagerou...]

Mmm... Don't worry about it! So what'd you bring for us to play?

[Jun watches with intense focus. Which..might seem a little awkward, but hey, she's never seen a video game. The curiosity is killing her.]

I can't quite remember off hand all the games I have, but I got Smash somewhere.

Oh! That's the one we played where the little people beat each other up, right?

[Wait. What? She doesn't want to get beat up! What is this?? Suddenly Jun is just scooting back just a little.]

[Kaguya notices, and... Well, she doesn't exactly get that Jun has just misunderstood this entirely.]

Um, are you alright?

Don't worry, Jun, it's actually super cool! It's like a big cartoon, except you can control it! It's awesome and Kaguya even let me win a few times!
