Seriously, don't you people have anything better to worry about? I can glance at the news for two seconds and see story after story about how people want us rounded up and tagged like cattle, and you're sitting here prattling about dates! Am I the only one who sees how ridiculous this is?

You know, I don't care one whit about Valentine's Day - it seems terribly overwrought to me - but... the more terrible life gets, in my experience, the more people need to talk about silly and pointless things.
