I just got to the mall. The gift shop has pink and red cards out and they're bringing out the chocolate.

Wait, here come the teddy bears with love hearts.






There go the fluffy heart pillows.


... And finally the chocolate roses.

It begins.

We only just finished January!

Yet another holiday I have yet not experienced due to some severely vague connections to Christian symbolism.
But surely people don't take it as seriously as movies would have you believe?
...right?

We'll have to see, but if someone orders 100 roses to leave at some student or teacher's doorstep, then we'll know it's that bad.

I think someone did mention that this school has something akin to a bomb shelter, so in a worst case scenario, perhaps some few sane souls can be saved.

There is no escaping Valentine's Day. The bomb shelter would just have roses stuffed in there anyway.
