First of all - don't ask.
[It's pretty clear what he's referring to. He is currently dressed in an absolutely horrendous sweater, which he keeps scratching at in annoyance. Making bets with a certain saucy language arts teacher is not recommended.]
Second, for god's sake don't listen to that Yeager kid. I'm sure most of you are smart enough to realize it, but it looks like he's under the impression that it's a "violation of his rights" to learn to keep his powers under control. Seeing as skipping classes wastes time and makes it that much harder for us to teach you how to survive once you get out of here... you see where I'm going with this. I figure if you ignore him long enough, though, he'll get the hint that he's doing more bad than good.
[And then he suddenly brightens up, with that smug grin he only has when he's making someone's life hell.]
Third, if you've got some spare time on your hands, the security club should still be taking members. Come on down, keep Officer Adachi company and bust some trouble-makers or something. Maybe you can just get someone you hate in trouble.
[Bigby, don't give them ideas. They'll take it seriously.]

oh right I SHOULD SAY video/private.....like a million tags ago
But you also just...say some really scary stuff, sometimes. And I dunno what to do about that.
OH YES, private, right
[So there! Well, he kind of did, but not to Sam's face. Also, don't listen to him, because he argues with his friends all the time, that is just his way.]
Of course I care about people, why wouldn't I? I care about them more than anything else! But—
There are some people I have to get rid of. I promised I would. If that makes me scary, then I'm scary. Fine.
HERPADERP.
Then if you want to do that, you should do it properly! Don't just run around picking fights with people and doing whatever you want...that's just like the people you don't like do. They take matters into their own hands without the police or a judge or a jury or anything.
Heroes are a symbol of hope for people. They're not supposed to be scary.

I'm not trying to be a hero. I'm going to find them and I'm going to kill them, all by myself.

[He thinks he killed people, anyway. That's enough for him to feel guilty about it!]

See? I'm a monster. That's why I shouldn't be here.

[He should be put away where he can't hurt anyone... It isn't fair, when all he wanted to do was help humanity.]

[HE'S VERY SURE HE PROBABLY DID SOMETHING VERY BAD. That is enough for him to have boatloads of certainty.]
I don't remember it, because suddenly everything changed and I couldn't think anymore—but when I woke up, I was in the basement. Everyone was upset, and they wouldn't tell me what had happened. But I could see out the basement window, and there were buildings that were broken, and some people... I didn't see them again after that. So... I don't know...

[He doesn't try very hard to remember.]
But I told you, I'm a danger to everyone! That's why.

You scared me--! Don't just say stuff like that out of the blue! I thought you meant you really just...decided to--and did! [ Murder someone. His powers going out of control doesn't count as far as Sam sees. The same intent can't be behind there, not when Eren's explained it's like he's not himself and has no power over what he does. ]

[People don't get a free pass because they're mutants!]
Once I—know what I did.

[He's not even exactly sure who, if anyone, he might have killed. The people he didn't see again could have been staying away in fear. But he can't help but believe the worst.]
But I am going to kill those other people! As a human!
[Just so you're clear on that.]
no subject
You believe in humanity right?
no subject
You don't understand, Sam. This is something I have to do.

If you wanna help them...help them catch the bad guys. Don't become one of the ones they have to fight too!
