[A relatively new face to the Institute, Grell's been stuck watching training videos about how to manage academic offices. It's been boring. So boring. Once the videos were over, though, the real work started and the new office lady(?) has realized something very important.]

To those in the student body who are organizing new clubs, first let me applaud you on your enthusiasm. Everyone should learn from your excellent example. Second, please allow me to remind you to turn in your bloody forms. I am not chasing you down because it's absolute murder on the legs to run in heels, and a lady should never be required to run anywhere that doesn't hold handsome rewards for her. If you force me to chase after you, you will not enjoy it. Are we clear? Wonderful. I expect tardy forms in by the end of the week.

As for the staff and faculty, please do me a pretty little favor, hm? I seem to have misplaced a bottle of polish - rose red - when watching one of your classes. If any of you have seen it, do be a dear and return it? I have a special reward to any handsome prince who brings it back to me.

[Which is to say, she left a bottle of polish in most male teachers' classrooms so she has a reason to talk to them all. Huehuehue.]

[ He lets himself chuckle a little at that. ]

Time waits for no man, Miss Grell. Lives are at stake here, and they cannot wait. As doctors, it is our duty to see that they get seen to. [ Sometimes he misses lessons because he can't leave the hospital even after the weekend has ended.

But about the tea. ] I can make some, if you'd prefer. Earl Grey?

I've always loved men who work so tirelessly for others. Their loyalty to their charges is so... endearing.

[And she'd like to protest that she should make the tea since she's British and all, but she also knows she makes a terrible cup of tea. Instead, she flicks the clamshell clasp on her purse and takes out a small tin, placing it next to her polish.]

Chamomile and lavender. After seven, it's healthier for you.

Since health is your passion and your profession. [She trades the polish for the tea and tucks the bottle into her bag.]

[ He doesn't quite comment on her words, merely noting them. She hasn't busted out the 'full on flirting' yet, which luckily gives him enough material to compose innocuous, straight replies. ]

Dedication is what doctors pledge towards, of course. To our patients and those we serve.

[ With that, he takes the tin and makes his way towards where the flask and cups are placed. The chamomile and lavender mix isn't something he usually takes, but his mother did make it once in a while, so he remembers roughly how to prepare it.

Out of habit he takes the conductor's baton out of his waistcoat pocket - with a flick of his wrist he draws some hot water out from the flask's spout, guiding the stream carefully into the cup. Not too little, not too much, swirling it a little to blend properly.

Once that is done, he brings the two cups back to where they had been sitting. ]

[Grell was acting a lot less desperate than she had seemed on the intranet, so Zian is actually relaxing; letting Taka handle the date for now while he sank into the story of the comic.

No need for heroics or blatant eavesdropping at the moment, after all. Hell, maybe Taka got a nice date out of it and they actually got along. Opposites attract and all that.]

[What was that? No flirting yet? Travesty!

Also, neat little trick there. She'll have to remember that he can do that - water based powers, ones he's not shy about using in front of others. Water meant he could possibly teach her things about manipulating her own medium. Grell smiled faintly, noting that she would need to be careful about how to broach the subject if she ever did.]

I'd love to see how far your dedication goes. Everyone needs a little personal care now and then, don't you agree?
