Hi. Got a question. It's more for people who've been here longer, but if anyone's got advice, it's cool.

Can't really believe I'm asking this, but - does anyone have any ideas for what to do when you miss your family? I try to talk to ma, but it doesn't always work. And I can't just keep ringing home.

[Yeah, if anyone's seen Kanji shouting into a phone, that's what he means by 'doesn't work'.]

I mean, I'm alright. It's not a big deal overall. But any tips?

Cool. I can do a bit of a strength booster thing but it's not the same as you guys who have it as your actual power.

I've got some electrical powers but they're not the same either.

That's complicated, though.

Yeah, look at this.

[He switches to video long enough to show off his cool black glove that emits sparks of electricity.]

It's not like having the real power... I used to have it but it went away. So I've got that glove instead.

[Good, hearing the voice of the person he's talking to is much nicer than reading text.]

Dr. McCoy made it for my birthday. I lost my plasmids somehow so... [Uhhh....] ...I used to have way more than this. Electricity and fire and ice and bees and a bunch of other stuff, but now all I've got is my strength and this glove.

Huh. That's pretty neat. But your what now? ...wait, bees? Damn...

Plasmids. Drugs that give you mutations-

[Right. Only he really knows about them.]

They had them back where I'm from. And... one of them made your body make bees and they come out of your arms and you can control them. It's itchy and weird at first but you get used to it and they're kind of cute... and really fuzzy.

[And a perfect form of self-defense because, well.. it's mind-controlled bees.]

[Okay... this sounds kind of weird... not going to say that, though. After all, 'weird' and 'unbelievable' are kind of relative.

...Not admitting that the cute bit's interesting, though.]

Electricity's my favorite, though. That's why I asked for a lightning glove.

[As far as Jack is concerned, bees is a pretty normal power. There are weirder ones.]

Well... it is pretty badass sometimes. [He laughs a bit. Trying to be positive - as much as he knows the downsides of his power, he's not going to dump it on someone he barely knows.]

[Well, he lost it some time in the 60 years he was stuck in a Vita-Chamber. But he only remembers having it for a few days at most.]

...Anyway, mine wasn't natural. So it's different anyway.
