I always get this itch when things feel like they're about to get hectic. Like I can just detect incidents. It's a good instinct for someone in my line of work to have.

I'm guessing this incident with these "U-Men" is going to become our problem pretty soon. So I'm making it official. Team Hakurei is recruiting.

You'll have access to myself, Marisa Kirisame, and Flandre Scarlet for training purposes, as we're the original team. Or at least what's left. So there's that. But for the most part I want to know who's willing to get out there and actually learn the trade of the X-Men.

I hold the ability to hear the very desires of a person. As well as just about anything else within a radius of wherever I may be standing.

As for everything else? I would say I'm rather good with persuasion, and consider myself quite athletic. I'm generally good at finding solutions others have been unable to.

I also have a double major in history and philosophy and a minor in political sciences.

In the sense of going to war? No, most people wouldn't. As far as self defence goes I have had that and have dabbled in fencing. But that hardly seems like a useful skill for a modern age.

Not everything is about physical combat though. One can win before anyone has even started as long as they have a clear understanding of the outcome.

Yeah, but we're a pretty combat oriented group. I see value in what you claim, but I'm not sure it's a fit for our needs. Not yet.

Classes seem focused on those with something violent to control. Considering that it seems it would be better to invest in some kind of high tech weaponry... but that's so impersonal. Yet, no one is ever going to tell you there's a chance to win a fight with a sword. And then? You still would have no experience. You could be the highest ranked swordsman but without actually going out there and fighting, it's for nothing.

I understand people might not have field experience coming in, but come on. It sounds like you're making excuses for yourself.

Not particularly. I'm just a bit tired of being expected to sit in the back.
