Honestly, the weirdest part is not that there's a random poem(?) now on the network. The weirdest part, for anyone who speaks the language, is she made the stylistic choice to write it all out in katakana instead of... anything more complex.

Anyway, I promise she won't go all tsun and yell about the ~*~screams of her pathos~*~, so approach to ask, maybe?]

[It takes her a moment of puzzling over why she got a random text in Japanese before she realizes what she accidentally did. Honestly, it's her own fault for using the text function to write out something instead of just a computer, but...

In any case, she'll reply in Japanese, as well. It's a little simplified, but perhaps it's just because she's typing from a phone.]

Small blessings, I suppose. Though it's still rather embarrassing. I'm not even one of the language arts teachers here.

Just a little practice with my native language, really. I need the practice, and poetry is an easy form. [There is something she isn't telling anyone, and it has nothing to do with the content of the poem itself.]

Oh, I see! I do the same thing, sometimes. Not with poetry, but I don't usually have much reason to dust off my Greek, so I have to find excuses to use it a little here and there.

Ah. I suppose poetry just works best with me because it doesn't have to be as cohesive as regular prose.

Unfortunately, I'm forgetting Japanese. I can't remember most of the kanji I'm supposed to use.
