[He grins. So, maybe the last thing Raven wants is to be dragged into the spotlight, but this is for her own good! And as her friend, of course he knows the best way to make her feel normal: prove that everyone else is a ticking time bomb, too.]

When I was eleven, I was practising transforming at the base. I just figured out how to get big a few days ago, and we were unwinding after nearly getting our butts kicked by The Brotherhod of Evil and I wanted to try out everything! Who wouldn't, right? C'mon.

I prooobably should have gone outside first, though. The last thing anyone wants when they're setting the table for lunch is a triceratops crashing through the ceiling right on them! We had to find someone to rebuild half of Robot Man, which took forever and I'm pretty sure if Elasti-Girl wasn't already Elasti, I'd have totally flattened her. I got grounded for like, a whole year after that, and we had to do a bunch of missions without him while he got better.

It was barely my fault anyway, though. They just don't make buildings like they used to back in the Cretaceous.

The first thing I did with my mutation was fracture a man's hip. And then later I got expelled from school for throwing a desk at a classmate. And then I ended up in prison and psych wards a lot because I kept on hurting people. [He sounds pretty calm about it, as if he's talking about an annoying personal habit and nothing more.] They all thought I liked hurting people since no one knew I was a mutant.

[Fai can understand that perhaps this is sensitive for some people, but on the other hand... mutants are people too. They will make mistakes, and sometimes the consequences are quite bad, but it's important to acknowledge the mistakes rather than bottle it up and convince yourself you're an awful person.]

Well, I can manipulate people into liking me, and I was a bullied teenager when this manifested. So~... I made myself really popular. It was a pretty creepy thing to do, right?
