Last week was very trying for everyone. I would like to remind everyone that the counselor's office is always open, and I personally am willing to answer calls even after hours by anyone having troubles sleeping because of the events or who want to talk.

We're not just here to help make adjustments to your schedules. If you need an ear, I can guarantee privacy and confidentiality. Please do not be afraid to talk.

[As usual, she will answer in kind, even though her speaking is a little awkward, slow, halting, and not entirely sure of her English.] Of course. Even if it's... not about what happened, and you just need to speak about... something to keep your mind occupied. It's mostly for... people who are troubled by what has or... is happening. That's why I wanted to... extend the invitation. But I won't turn away someone... just saying hello, either.

Hm...? Ah... yes. I suppose that is... one way to spell that. It's certainly more poetic and friendly than... the actual kanji we use, though. [She gives a little chuckle.]

Which are? I'm not too good with them.

Ah, it's 'ash field'. [Fatal Frame antags and their creepy place name surnames, man.] But I can't change it now, even if I like the other more.

I asked because the doctors back home would call us 'haibane'. Still, 'ash field' isn't so terrible. Ash helps things grow, right?

Haibane? ... Ah. [She doesn't know everyone's personnel files in the school, so she can't recall if she knows or has read anything about this teacher's past, but...]

They called... what my mother and I had... 'Getsuyuu Syndrome'. They thought it was... influenced by the phases of the moon.

[There's not much. Mainly because she doesn't remember very much.]

...What happens at a full moon?

It seemed like... our symptoms became better. Especially mother's. The full moon appeared to... bring her faint memories back and... put her in higher spirits.

-It was bound to happen eventually. There was no hiding what happened during the riots. And when she was released from the infirmary, she was advised to seek our Sakuya's counsel... the two had bonded, after all. Maybe she could help...

She'd find Kagerou in her office for what was the first of many now scheduled sessions... Xavier wasn't going to simply let this go. Kagerou needed help... They all just hoped Sakuya could provide it.-

[Well. Here it goes. She received the file, read over the incident report, and sighed, the first of many, as she pondered her plan of attack with this one.

Then, finally, the time had come, and Sakuya... well, she had an idea.

As usual, her office is dimly lit, quiet, closed off, rather cave-like. She has the harsh fluorescent overhead lights off in favor of the standing lamp that's in the corner, and the whole room is bathed in a dim, calming, yellowish glow.

She also seems to have green tea, which she is enjoying, and makes the room smell pleasant.

Of course, these were all things that worked with humans. She was taking a gamble on it working on a wolf, as well.]

Would you like something to drink?

[Oh and. She speaks in Japanese. Softly, calmly.]

... Water is fine, thank you. -Ad thus the conversation would stay in that language. Maybe it was for the best. As far as the carefully constructed mood of the room, well... Kagerou did notice it. She wasn't exactly sure what to make of it, though.-

[She seems to have predicted that sort of answer, as well, as she seems to have a cold bottle of water in one of her desk drawers, which she places on the opposite side of the desk. Whether or not Kagerou touches it is up to her.

She lets the silence linger for a moment, taking a deep breath, and then looks right at Kagerou. The yellow hue of her light really brings out the golden color in her eyes, it's notable. However, she's smiling.]

How are you feeling today? I was very worried when I'd heard about the gunshots.

The medication, then? Pain medication is a nice thing when you're injured, but you never have any... energy with it.

Mm. [She takes another sip of her tea.] Anger can be good, if put toward constructive ways. That... wasn't a very constructive use for it, unfortunately. But I'm sure people have told you that by now.
