[The video feed opens to a girl with shimmering silver-blue hair and deep red eyes. Her fingers come together as she looks nervously into the camera for a second.]

U-Um... hello! I'm Catherine Fujishima a-and... well, you guys might have seen me over the past week? If... if you didn't that's okay. I was just a guest here and I know you guys were busy.

[As she gets going her pacing becomes a bit livelier as she gains more confidence.]

So, anyways, yeah! I just wanted everybody to know that I've made a decision: I'm gonna join this school! It... it seems like it'd be a lot of fun learning and stuff. I've been told I'm gonna be joining the 10th grade, though I probably gots a lot of work to catch up on.

I hope that we can all get along!

[She bows politely, her ponytail following her lowering head.]

Oh, yeah! And if anybody doesn't mind helping me catch up, I'd really appreciate it! I'm could use a tutor for math, an' science, an' English, an' composition, an' history. But mostly the first three.

I'm native-speakin' too, but I spent the past seven or eight years in Japan. We did study it in class, but...

[Alex grins, then shifts his accent slightly, going from one that almost sounds American, if a little posh, to a more relaxed London accent.]

Well, actually, I'm from England. I just don't always sound like it. Been working on my American accent.

Oh yeah! Tea and crumpets land!

[she smirks, a little] It's good of yah that you're tryin' to better yourself. That accent you have now is really weird!

Tea and crumpets? Of all the great things England is known for, you have to pick tea and crumpets?

[mock offence is clearly fake]

Ha, you think my accent is weird? You have clearly never met someone from Liverpool.

Well, they oughta! If I lived in a place named out of a pool of livers, I'd try to draw as much attention away from that as I could!

Now now, no need to make fun of them. While scholars can't really decide where the name originally came from, they're all fairly certain it was nothing hepatic.

They either think it has to do with muddy pools of water or pools where eels live. Not that those are much better than naming a town after an organ.

Well, at least you won't have to ever bother with English history to that level. Just all the interesting bits until the States go off and have their little 'revolution.'

[Ohhh... she can tell this guy is going to be "fun"]

Heh. Yeah, I'd much rather talk about the two times we went and saved your bacon.

You mean the times the Americans sat back and let everyone else do the heavy lifting for years before swooping in at the eleventh hour, trying to steal all the credit?

Well, we would have done more but we had to go two places during that last one.
