The girl isn't nearly as creepy in a rather ordinary sundress, a nice blue-gray number. Nothing fancy and it clearly allowed her to move freely as she stepped into center frame. To those that know her before she seems less... paranoid, angry, and ready to kill things at a moment's notice than she was five years ago. Even if she hasn't aged as much as everyone else.*

Hello. I am a returning student, I am a little old for high school, but I needed to withdraw from my last school for personal reasons. I am attempting to finish my education so I can properly enter the workforce without forged documentation.

*Yes, that was all said with a straight face.*

Would be very interested to see your Gentle Fist style. I have not faced it since I was your age. But I must warn you my own training was... thorough.

That's all right. I'm used to sparring against more experienced martial artists. It's the best way to improve.

It's possible. The only reason the kidnappers failed before was because my powers killed them. They moved like people who know how to fight.

They can be. My father told me to leave the room when someone who works for him brought him a copy of the autopsy report, but I heard something about a ruptured stomach when I was leaving...

...thank you. I can make energy and if I push it into things, it does internal damage even though it doesn't show a lot of damage on the outside. That was the first time my powers showed up. Father said it was probably "fight or flight" instincts.

It is a part of the adrenal system. X-Gene mutations can be forced into activation that way.

Your powers sound very effective. Do they need a direct blow to form a clear path for the energy, or can they be transferred through open air to their target?

I can hit things with my energy up to a few feet away. I don't know if I could do that kind of damage from that distance or not. I know if I want to be more exact, I have to be close up. I only practiced on punching bags, though.

If it is necessary to test on a live willing subject. The chances that would kill me are minimal.

*And the chances it will kill her for any noticeable length even less likely.*

What kind of powers do you have?

Heal? As in you can heal yourself and other people, or does your body heal itself on its own?

[Because if it's the latter, that works, but if it's the former...she'd still need to be careful because Laura would need to be conscious to heal herself.]
