[ Hair down, in neatly kept curls, Belle switches on her mobile device. She's clearly nervous. The idea of adjusting to American life properly isn't one she's taking well.

Perhaps it has much to do with the loss of her mother and being kept so far away from home. The best Belle can manage is a soft smile, her accent still evident in her speech, but her english is proficient enough. ]

Bonjour, my name is Belle and I just transferred. [ She gives a small, nervous wave. ] I was wondering what types of clubs you have here. I'm interested in any book clubs or maybe language ones. I am still learning english.

[ She bites at her lip. ]

I would appreciate it if someone could show me around properly? Also, [ Shuffles for a paper from her pocket. ] Meulin Leijon? I would like to meet you as it seems we're roomed together. How about coffee?

[ Does she sound too proper? She can't tell. ]

[ Well that answers one question. People do go by other names here. She wasn’t exposed to that much in France, however she had different circumstance. But she brightens up at something. ]

You mean. . .we can use our powers out in the open? [ A small smile. ] I think I’d like to try I haven’t. . been able to use mine since I left.

[ They’re troublesome really. Actually she just doesn’t realize what her powers are quite yet despite being told by multiple people that they’ve seen them. It’s a bit of an odd situation. ]

[Beast Boy transforms into a quick montage of animal forms, each of them as green as his human one. It takes an experienced selfie-er to smoothly move their phone from hand to tail to trunk to tentacle, and so on, until he returns to human form and grins proudly.]

[He turns the phone to show off his surroundings. He's in the common area of the boy's dorms, and although one or two people are still looking at him after that display, no one seems especially interested.]

You would not believe the stuff you have to do that turn heads around here.

[ Color her amazed. Many of the mutants she knows have psionic abilities and she rarely runs into those who have physical ones. She can't help but giggle a touch as he transforms, a softer smile forming on red lips. Actually she needed this. She hasn't felt comfortable since she flew in. ] Tres magnifique [ She'll have to get used to feeling normal here. ] Maybe I can truly learn to use my psychic constructs here. I haven't been able to summon them since I left Paris. I can't tell if it's because I'm nervous or not but they would be useful in the game you mentioned. [ If she could just make a baseball bat out of her own power she would be proud of herself. She doesn't know what's stopping it at the moment. That's another reason for coming here. ] Would you mind helping me? [ Hey him being an attention hog is paying off. She's actually used to this part. ] I want to try by myself before I ask a teacher and you seem to have a handle on yours.

[Sure, BB has no idea how to help with psychic constructs, but it's got to be more fun than studying!]
