In my esteemed opinion, I've come to the conclusion that SOME people at this school need a little romantic push. Just my opinion of course! I mean, if there was suddenly mistletoe on some doorways, it's not like you HAVE to bow to tradition. But maybe it'd be a nice little...excuse!

Of course, you should always ask. Purrmission is important!

I've never done anything with Christmas before. -It was more of a human thing. Wolves didn't have holidays.-

Oh oh!! It's a tradition!

See you put up mistletoe, this little sprig of berries and leaves from that plant, up on doorways. And people underneath them kiss! I mean you should ask, of course, but that's the tradition!

I can tell you more about Christmas if you want!

W-what? Kiss? Why? I mean, who'd even do that?

Because you want to kiss them, obviously. Why else would you do it! It just sort of gives you an excuse to kiss someone you might not have the courage to ask so before. Since you can fall back on the 'oh it's just tradition' if they say no!

I don't feel like that explains anything! And besides, you can't prove I want to kiss anyone! -... This isn't about you, Shadow.-

Evergreens are a symbol of fertility. They never turn orange and red and die with winter, so people used them in the winter as sort of...I don't know? Fertility symbol stuff? I don't think it's that way anymore but I'm sure that kissing under the mistletoe started with that!

Maybe. I could be completely wrong. I just know it's a tradition to kiss under the mistletoe.
