In my esteemed opinion, I've come to the conclusion that SOME people at this school need a little romantic push. Just my opinion of course! I mean, if there was suddenly mistletoe on some doorways, it's not like you HAVE to bow to tradition. But maybe it'd be a nice little...excuse!
Of course, you should always ask. Purrmission is important!

It comes from the term 'relationship'. So if you think two people should be in a relationship, you 'ship' them together. More so in fandoms! You know?
Like you might want two characters to get together. If you're shouting 'just kiss already' at a screen or a book, you ship them!
