I wanted to make sure everyone knows: I'm boycotting all my classes. No matter what.

I don't agree with the mission of this school, and I'm being held here against my will! So I'm officially on strike in protest of your unjust policies!

[It's true, as was pointed out to him: if he's protesting, he should let everyone know about it!

He's still not sure about the hunger strike part of his plan, as he needs to eat a lot. But he boycotted Thanksgiving, so that's a start.

Well, admittedly that does complicate matters. But what I meant was that it might just be a matter of attitude, you see? The sergeant responsible for me always informed me that if a situation was hopeless, the best thing I could do was keep busy while waiting for backup, even if it might be in small ways.

You can't leave, and I'm not sure how much anyone cares about whether or not you participate in lessons, so why not direct all that lovely energy somewhere else? Like vandalism, maybe?

[Talking too much is regrettably a character trait which nothing short of violence will curb even in the slightest.]

You are aware that there are quite a lot of shades of grey in between outright acts of terrorism and peaceful (if not always lawful) protest, right?

Acts of terrorism hurt a lot more, to start with.

You will excuse that I'm suffering something akin to culture shock here, and therefore might not see things quite the way you do. You see, where I'm from, "mutant terrorists" meant people fighting for their lives and their rights, though I do appreciate that it might not be quite the same here.

But sometimes one has to break the law to be heard, when the law is written by people who don't exactly have your best interests at heart.
