I wanted to make sure everyone knows: I'm boycotting all my classes. No matter what.

I don't agree with the mission of this school, and I'm being held here against my will! So I'm officially on strike in protest of your unjust policies!

[It's true, as was pointed out to him: if he's protesting, he should let everyone know about it!

He's still not sure about the hunger strike part of his plan, as he needs to eat a lot. But he boycotted Thanksgiving, so that's a start.]

Being held against your will? What do you think this is, a prison?

[ Granted, it's not like Natsuno likes it here that much either.. but he doesn't dislike it enough to actually go as far as Eren. Instead he just feels more generally apathic towards the whole situation (and he came here more or less voluntarily himself, anyway.) ]

[Well, that question was easy to answer. Eren is ready to answer any questions, though! It's all a part of his protest!]

I haven't seen any bars or cells around here just yet. Aren't you overreacting?

I'm trapped here against my will. I can't leave and I can't go home. So yes, for me it is. There don't have to be bars. And how do you know there aren't cells downstairs?

Because this is a school. Even if you might feel like schools are supposed to be institutions of torture, I can assure you the only torture that goes on is having to take extra math classes. [ Apparently he's still just not too impressed by Eren's display. Or he thinks the guy is just exaggerating - not like teens aren't prone to doing that, even though Natsuno is still very much a teen himself, whoops. ]

I don't think that. I loved my old school!

I didn't say I was tortured. I was kidnapped from my family, brought here against my will, and now they're keeping me a prisoner here. If I try to leave, they'll restrain me. They won't put up bars to cage people in because it would look bad for them, and because they don't have to.

If you don't want to believe the truth, you can keep telling yourself whatever lie you want.

Sure, sure. So you're saying that if I'd try to leave, I would be restrained too? Sounds pretty dramatic to do just for one person.

I doubt you would, since you're not being held here.

It's not my job to convince you. I'm stating why I'm protesting. I was taken from my family, physically and legally, and now I'm not permitted to leave the school. And there are others here against their will, too.

So what? You want us to be aware of it? You want it to be spread outside of the school? Or do you just want to say what's on your mind regardless of whether people listen or not?

Right on all counts.

[Those three things don't cancel each other out, after all.]

Sounds pretty ambitious for a single guy to try and accomplish.
