I just transferred.

[ A short - and slightly blunt - statement. It's almost given as some sort of disclaimer in the sense of "so don't expect me to really know anything just yet" more than anything else.. it's probably also why a proper introduction is missing. He's not the social type, and he sure doesn't like drawing attention to himself to begin with, so maybe he's just hoping to keep it as short as possible.

A small pause, as if he's thinking of how to word something, but then he just sighs. He probably shouldn't take up too much time with this or lunch break is over, huh. ]

What do you do when your annoying roommate just won't shut up. [ Not even bothering to filter it from said roommate. He gives exactly zero shits.

The girls' dorms are behind the hedge maze, right? Someone briefly explained where everything is to me.

[Is he going to get lost? He's so new, maybe he needs directions... Sometimes people get lost in the maze on the way over, after all.]

No, not yet. [ What kind of guy do you think he is, sneaking over to the girls' dorms!! And with his kind of social abilities (read: none at all) it's not like he's made any female friends already to visit or anything. ]

I'm sure I can find it though.. are you saying people often get lost here?

[ It's only a campus, after all.. but god knows what kind of weird stuff can be lurking on the campus of a school full of weirdos, huh. ]

[She looks a little embarrassed, but it's not for herself.]

It's more like people have this weird habit of going into the maze when if they've never been in it when they come over, and then they get lost.

[She shrugs. While she's been speaking, she's also digging around in her desk drawers, just out of view.]

[ Well, he can't say a hedge maze really intimidates him or anything.. but on the other hand, he doesn't want to get lost there on one of his first days if it does go wrong and look like a moron. ]

Ah. [ Sort of embarrassing, asking this then, but.. ] Mind coming out front instead then? I won't make you wait.

[She makes a face, because she realizes what a bad idea that could be only after she said it out loud. Oops.]

When you say it like that... Yeah, alright.

[And she pulls her hand out of her desk drawer, nodding. She finally found them.]

Ten minutes from now?

That's fine with me. [ He's not in his room right now anyway, so.. that ten minutes doesn't mean "ten minutes more of getting his ears chattered off". Sounds perfect to him. ]

I shouldn't be too hard to recognize [ considering his hair.. color.. then again, half the village looked this anime hair-y where he came from ] so I'll see you there.

[ And he'll actually make sure he's there first, just so he's in time.. he's an ass, but not the kind of ass who actually makes someone wait for him when they promised to help him. So he's just standing around there, probably leaning against something as he waits. ]
