video;

I just transferred.

[ A short - and slightly blunt - statement. It's almost given as some sort of disclaimer in the sense of "so don't expect me to really know anything just yet" more than anything else.. it's probably also why a proper introduction is missing. He's not the social type, and he sure doesn't like drawing attention to himself to begin with, so maybe he's just hoping to keep it as short as possible.

A small pause, as if he's thinking of how to word something, but then he just sighs. He probably shouldn't take up too much time with this or lunch break is over, huh. ]

What do you do when your annoying roommate just won't shut up. [ Not even bothering to filter it from said roommate. He gives exactly zero shits.

(Also yes, that's apparently the whole question.) ]

Perhaps you just need to spend time in my class. You would wish differently, I expect.

Since I am not entirely up to date with the staff here, and my schedule is still a fairly fluid thing due to my somewhat excentric previous studies- [And the fact that going to an ordinary school is kind of like venturing into strange and possibly hostile territory as far as Luvander is concerned.] -remind me which class that is, if you would be so kind.

Sociology. Of course, I am Mr. Rodrigues but I prefer Sam.

[Well, that makes it hard not to laugh.] Oh, but of course it is. Thoroughly silly of me. A class that encourages not only study of teacher and material, but the other students as well, I'm guessing?

Though I'm really a lot more fascinating as a conversational partner than as a test subject.

If only such a thing existed.

No, no. I just teach my students the facts and allow them to draw their own conclusions. Instead of grading on knowledge, I will grade on strength of one's belief.
