[ A short - and slightly blunt - statement. It's almost given as some sort of disclaimer in the sense of "so don't expect me to really know anything just yet" more than anything else.. it's probably also why a proper introduction is missing. He's not the social type, and he sure doesn't like drawing attention to himself to begin with, so maybe he's just hoping to keep it as short as possible.

A small pause, as if he's thinking of how to word something, but then he just sighs. He probably shouldn't take up too much time with this or lunch break is over, huh. ]

What do you do when your annoying roommate just won't shut up. [ Not even bothering to filter it from said roommate. He gives exactly zero shits.

Well, it is a well-known fact that you can't please everyone.

[To tell the truth, though, Luvander hasn't actually been in a position to make friends in a more conventional way since he was six years old. The people who do consider him a friend do so because he was their comrade, not because of his charm or lack thereof - and they also used to find him annoying.

If anything, people here have been remarkably tolerant of his quirks. Natsuno is in a way a rather nice reminder of home, as far as Luvander is concerned.]

But on the other hand, I almost feel flattered that you are already planning violence toward me.

[ For a moment he almost answers "what violence", but then he realises.. oh, right. The fact that practically everyone who replied was all for him kicking this guy out of the third story window, right..

He lets out a sigh as if this is the most bothersome thing ever to say. ]

Like that's going to help anything. You're indestructible, remember? [ Well, near-indestructible, but ssh.. details. ] I'm smarter than trying any of that. It's just going to exhaust me.

[Luvander is so used to overblown threats of violence over every slightest thing - If you don't stop tapping your foot, Merritt, I'll lynch you in the showers - that the suggestions Natsuno has received so far seem perfectly ordinary to him.

But his smile goes just a tiny bit warmer at the reply, even there is also a sly little twist to it.]

So you do already care. There is really no need to be shy about that, you know. [Luvander shifts slightly, and for a moment his scarf slips down, showing the nasty purple scar which is definite proof that he in fact is not so indestructible at all. He quickly pulls it up again.]

At any rate, I wouldn't worry too much. You just need a bit of time to adjust yourself to my personality, and I'm sure you won't find it quite so overwhelming in a while.

You know, I'm slowly starting to change my mind.

[ That may actually nearly be a vein pulsing near his temple.. because you said the c-word, Luvander! You can't just say the c-word like it's nothing. He doesn't care. He's not going to care. He's determined to not care, don't you understand? ]

Someone dared me to kick you out of a third story window. Maybe I should start defending my honor after all. [ He's so full of hot air though, he's not going to do anything worse than knock Luvander over the head if he's ever being annoying within arm's reach.. ]

Oh yes, I believe that would be Beast Boy. Very inconsiderate of him, considering I did him the favor of healing him during the attack and everything.

[But considering Luvander's wide grin, he's not particularily hurt by this so-called betrayal. There is a glint in his eye there too, half-crazy and half amused, as if he's on the verge of challenging Natsuno to follow through - but he doesn't. He just shrugs with studied nonchalance practically oozing from evety pore.]

And I promise you that your honor is in no danger from me, at least. [Oh yes, he went there.]

I'm not too surprised other people are already invested in seeing bodily harm being brought to you. [ Considering it does seem like the one way to make Luvander shut up, but Natsuno knows the truth.. there's no way even that would work... but that's not the main problem here, hence why it takes the last statement to truly make Natsuno wrinkle his nose in annoyance. ]

Besides, what are you trying to imply? [ That he's undermining himself here with his own tsundere tendencies there's nO WAY THAT'S HAPPENING.. okay.. ]

My dear, I can barely remember a time in my life when there hasn't been someone wishing me bodily harm. I don't think I could feel at home here without it.

[That... sounds rather alarming when he says it like that. He's mostly referring to the way threats and casual fighting was part of the Dragon camaraderie, but... well, it is true in a literal way as well.

Ah, but now he smirks in the most infuriating way possible, drumming a finger in a pointed way against his lips.]

And what I meant is obviously that you can be at ease. I promise not to peek while you get changed or anything like that - that would be quite indecent, wouldn't you agree?

[ He's not sure how serious he should take that - probably at least a little, considering what Luvander did tell him.. and that part about the weapons and not sneaking up behind him.. but whatever, it's not like he's experienced the same, so he doesn't bother to dig into it. He's fine with leaving personal stuff personal.

But then the second part comes and that isn't as easy to brush off. Honestly, he may not have had problems with it originally, but if the other feels the need to bring it up like that... ]

Why would you even bother to mention that specifically?! What kind of plans did you have?

[Oh bastion, the boy is really just too precious. Luvander manages to maintain his teasing smirk for a few seconds longer, before it dissolves into rich laughter.]

Because I wanted to see if it was going to embarrass you, of course. I'm sorry, my dear, but we're not quite intimate enough yet that I actually would make particular plans just to glimpse a bit more of you than I normally see. I'm sure that is very disappointing to hear, but you're just going to have to be strong.

[ Natsuno's always a little like a dog when he gets driven into a corner like this.. he just starts doing the human verbal equivalent of barking and growling by trying to say stuff that sounds dismissive and tough but there's just that obvious clue to it that he's just really embarrassed..

If he was near Luvander right now, he could definitely give the guy that kick he promised Beast Boy right about now. God.
