Hi. Got a question. It's more for people who've been here longer, but if anyone's got advice, it's cool.

Can't really believe I'm asking this, but - does anyone have any ideas for what to do when you miss your family? I try to talk to ma, but it doesn't always work. And I can't just keep ringing home.

[Yeah, if anyone's seen Kanji shouting into a phone, that's what he means by 'doesn't work'.]

I mean, I'm alright. It's not a big deal overall. But any tips?

Maybe playing outside? Beast Boy and I swordfight sometimes. It helps him study.

[Because he's already working on a way to make it fair between him and Beast Boy, and it has mostly so far been playing very gently so as to not break Beast Boy.]

Before I moved, I always used to love the hills above town. I still like that sort of stuff. Somewhere I can go and look at everything. Kind of makes me feel small, but in a good way?

Man. That kind of sounds a bit mushy, doesn't it.

Nothing wrong with that. Not sure we'll find much in the way of hills on the grounds, here, but perhaps not too far away there's somewhere you'd enjoy. I'm afraid my sense of the environs is not yet very well developed.

Can she do youtube and things? You could try making vlogs--you know! I do that sometimes, just a purrivate channel so I can talk to my sisters and Dad. Tell them what's going on, show them stuff I'm doing or my room!

Does she like scrapbooks? My relative who looked out for me in Tokyo helped me make one for Mother's day. It kept my mind off feeling lonely sometimes.

Dude. That is an awesome idea! I mean, I don't know everything she likes, but I think she might like something like that. And it kind of sounds fun, too.

Huh. She's not that good with computers, but I think she can manage Youtube.

I just wouldn't have a clue what to do about actually making the video any good! Would just a basic thing with no editing be okay?

I send my parents an email a night. It helps me better my writing skills and lets me get everything out at the end of the day.

Cool. I can do a bit of a strength booster thing but it's not the same as you guys who have it as your actual power.
