[The video starts off with Tenma in his room, fiddling with everything and looking only a tad bit nervous.]
I know the news hasn't been very happy lately. I think we all need something to take it off our minds and relax.
So!
There's a site that has all of the videos for the past World Cups. In Spanish! [He seems really, really stoked about that particular fact....]
There's going to be popcorn and---and soda! If no one minds, we can watch it in the lounge on Saturday night. If we can't, we'll find another room. It... It will work out somehow!

[Which is to say he wants to revel in the defeat of his enemies, even if he should be writing.]

video;
[A quick pause, and then he blinks curiously.]
Why in Spanish...?
video;
The Spanish commentator is more excited, so I get more excited! I know the legendary Kakuma-san is energetic in his, but he doesn't reach the same level as the Spanish guys.
video;
[A small snerk of a laugh interrupts him.]
But neither of us speaks Spanish?
video;
[He pouts a little]
But we can still see soccer, and soccer is a universal language.
Re: video;
[He's more teasing than anything at this point, favoring Tenma with a small, amused smile.]
It's fine, maybe that will help keep everyone entertained.
video;
[video]
[He doesn't know jack (haha) about soccer, but he's a curious child.]
How early do they go? Are there ones from the 50s?
[video]
[Our archives don't have it but this is a 2018 AU so all those videos are probably up]
They have the first games ever! They're not very good quality, but they have it.
[video]
I wanna watch those! And... you can find them in english, right? [Please?]
[video]
[video]
[Also he misses the inexplicable change in dialect between 1959 and 2018.]
[video]
It's easy to understand!
[video]
[The pause comes when he realizes he has not played it, it's just the fake memories that say he has. He doesn't even actually like football. God damn it.]
[video]
Not even close. Soccer is more simple and less violent!
[video]
[What.]
...More simple sounds good.

[Drugs are bad, he's pretty sure that's the moral of his life.]

[Because he was also doing motions for that, he loses balance and falls off his chair. gj gj]
Oww... you can... feel it...
Video
... Right. Anyway, I've got a lot of work, but I might stop in for a game or two.
Video
Okay... Ow... [He comes back into view with a cheeky smile]
Any countries you want to watch and root for?
Video
Not particularly. [A good match is a good match; he doesn't care who plays it, really.]
