So… this is going to be an awkward introduction.
[Enter a big scruffy man on the comm, looking pretty meek for how gruff and manly his appearance is. And then he clears his throat, and the authority kicks in.]
My name is Bigby Wolf, and I’m a combat trainer here for the older kids starting this semester. A little higher level than what Beifong's teaching, but it should be easy to pick up. Some of you may already know me as, uh… [He hesitates a bit.] …The Big Bad Wolf. And there are a lot of rumors circling because of that, but I assure you I wouldn’t get a position here unless Xavier trusted me. He especially wouldn’t let me near kids if he thought I was still…
[Eating them. He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.]
Let’s see, what can I tell you… I was a sheriff over in District X until I came here, so I’ve got plenty of experience catching criminals. Even caught a few of… well, I guess around here you call ‘em supervillains. I guess you could kind of call me one of those two… or an ex-villain, at least.
[A nervous chuckle ends in him popping out a carton of Huff’n’Puffs and lighting himself a cigarette.] I understand a lot of people are going to be nervous around me, I’m not going to stop them from voicing complaints. But the class is optional, so you don’t have to be near me if you don’t want to be. For whatever reason.

I'm sure nobody would have let you in if you were dangerous, so it's fine. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Wolf.

[She's so tiny to him he's having trouble taking her seriously oops.]
I guess I won't be able to teach you yet, but by the time I can, well, maybe I'll be a little more used to teaching.
[And spending this much time around this many people.]

[Tiny she might be, but she's no wimp. She even looks a bit disappointed in that news, though her power's not all that suited to his class, anyway.]
You seem really nice so far. If you're this patient, you'll do fine, I'm sure of it!

My patience comes on a case-by-case basis. But I'm glad you think so.

Doesn't everybody's? There's a limit for anything, anyway, so it's just better not to push you.
[She'd know, since her own patience is pretty limited a lot of the time.]

Plus, being called anything but "Bigby" is usually a sign he's going to have to fight someone.]
Well, some people have more patience than others.

I guess that's why they gave you a job with a built-in venting system! How mad can you really get while doing that much exercise?
[Throwing kids around is a good way to feel better about yourself, clearly.]

So it's more like an objective security system. I'm dangerous, so I'm actively making something that nulls me out.

[The Big Bad Wolf? Yeah, right. He's starting to seem more like the Big Sensitive Teddy Bear to Aki.]
Yeah, I definitely see why they'd hire someone like you, even if you've got a bad reputation.

Well, the boost to security can't hurt either. I can eat burglars, after all.
[Why anyone in their right mind would rob a mutant school, though, there's a great question.]

Everyone appreciates a good guard dog! Except for burglars and kidnappers, I guess.
