My name is Bigby Wolf, and I’m a combat trainer here for the older kids starting this semester. A little higher level than what Beifong's teaching, but it should be easy to pick up. Some of you may already know me as, uh… [He hesitates a bit.] …The Big Bad Wolf. And there are a lot of rumors circling because of that, but I assure you I wouldn’t get a position here unless Xavier trusted me. He especially wouldn’t let me near kids if he thought I was still…

[Eating them. He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.]

Let’s see, what can I tell you… I was a sheriff over in District X until I came here, so I’ve got plenty of experience catching criminals. Even caught a few of… well, I guess around here you call ‘em supervillains. I guess you could kind of call me one of those two… or an ex-villain, at least.

[A nervous chuckle ends in him popping out a carton of Huff’n’Puffs and lighting himself a cigarette.] I understand a lot of people are going to be nervous around me, I’m not going to stop them from voicing complaints. But the class is optional, so you don’t have to be near me if you don’t want to be. For whatever reason.

Hey, one of the combat teachers when I was here was in retrospect kinda psycho and we all loved her. You'll be fine.

So I can hope... I didn't do much research on the other teachers before I came here.

I don't think she's here any more, seeing how one of us has her old job. But seriously, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Should there be any students unsure about taking your class, despite your competence, please inform them that I am taking it. So if they fear the Big Bad Wolf, a knight shall be present.

[Arturia doubted she really needed the instruction with her own combat expertise, but she had a free period and this message has prompted her to pick the class up. Oh, she should probably introduce herself.]

[Bigby never knew how much he could feel like a fish out of water until it occurs to him he's getting reassured by a blind nineteen year old.

Pfft, even then only a few of the teachers were formal. Again: in hindsight, my favorite teacher was a total psycho.

Well, that sounds like a good goal to follow. Well, if you'll be hanging around my class I might have to borrow you for demonstrations. Don't worry about hurting me.. I can walk most anything off. Uh... eventually.

Well, better than a boring teacher, I guess. Maybe the kids'll start bragging about surviving the Big Bad Wolf or something.
