Hi. Got a question. It's more for people who've been here longer, but if anyone's got advice, it's cool.

Can't really believe I'm asking this, but - does anyone have any ideas for what to do when you miss your family? I try to talk to ma, but it doesn't always work. And I can't just keep ringing home.

[Yeah, if anyone's seen Kanji shouting into a phone, that's what he means by 'doesn't work'.]

I mean, I'm alright. It's not a big deal overall. But any tips?

It's hard for me... I'm a runaway and all. I still love my family. But I feel like if I start missing them too much, I'll ruin everything.

Runaway? Huh. Yeah, I see how that's going to be hard...

It's not always so bad, of course...

I guess if you're going to run away it's going to be for something that's worth it.

For me, it was to finally find my own path in life. Got tired of basically living in a cage.

It was that bad, huh?

Don't get me wrong. My family loves me, and I love them. But my dad was obsessed with protecting me from a world that doesn't like mutants. And I couldn't live like that anymore.

I kind of get it, I think. Sometimes, you've just got to be your own person, right?

I can't really imagine what it's gotta be like bein' that cooped up.

Stifling to say the least. Especially when I'd hear stories about the X-Men and whatnot. I wanted to be more than just the kid that was always watching the world from a tower.
