Isn't that usually what they send after people who can do stuff above and beyond what the average populace can do? I mean we've got people with psychic abilities and eye lasers and teleportation and super strength and that can transform into big ol' dragons and stuff, even if there are trained soldiers... which would not be fun to fight, I don't think... we've still got all that on our side and they have... uh. A lot of really high tech hardware, I guess.
