Second Smash [Video]

[When the video starts, everything is dark for a few moments until a large green finger moves out of the way of the camera and a man's face appears which would be unfamiliar to all but a few. He scowls at the camera, clearly not the most technically savvy of people.]

The Danger Room's gotten boring. Which one of you puny mutants can give me a real challenge? I don't care if you're a student or a teacher.

[He leans in closer in an attempt to be imposing though it mostly just takes the majority of his face out of view.]

Show me what you've got.

[His hand envelops the device again and the video ends.]

[End of semester work is driving her a bit crazy. But she hasn't completely lost every bit of sense in her head.]

[Flandre became confused! Mostly she blinks, which mics don't really pick up too well. But she does pause a bit before she responds.]

Do you have any idea how strong this guy is? It's a fight with the safety parameters on the Danger Room every day just to keep this guy from breaking the damn thing.

I used to do that too, Reimu.

[Not as frequently and usually accidentally, but.]

That's not the point. You could seriously get hurt fighting a guy like him, even a 'spar'.

[jolie_aile]

[Now she's just digging her heels in. She was a bit wary of accepting that request earlier--but now she was too stubborn to do anything else.]

[She sighs in frustration, rubbing her temples.]

But how to word this? "I won't die"--well, that was obvious. Not very reassuring. "Thank you for your concern"--too dismissive-sounding, though honest.]

...I do. He wouldn't be here if he was completely uncontrollable.

[Flandre was trying to avoid thinking about it. But memories of her isolation room started to filter back unbidden.]
