Oh, hey! My phone can do video! Hoo... um... first post and all. What pressure, right? Anyways, name's Bridget Halford, and I guess we're all a lot of them x-gene types, eh? Cool, cool... um...

So, like, you don't have to say it if you don't want to BUT, but... um... I'm interested to know how everyone got here. For me, well, y'see... I kind of ran away from home. Spent some time roaming Europe, ran into a bloke with lightning bolts comin' out his hands, and he pointed Professor Xavier's way.

[Aki recognizes the difference in the dorms, after spending some time exploring her own, but she doesn't point it out. She assumes that Bridget is friends with someone in the boy's dorm and is visiting. Besides, the conversation topic is much more interesting to her at the moment.]

You wandered around Europe alone? Really? That sounds kind of crazy...

[She's smiling despite her surprised tone, though, because that sounds way cooler than her own story.]

I came to this country from Japan, but I got sent to school because my family got tired of running around, trying to hide me. Everyone thought I was a mutant because of my eyes, even before I showed any other signs. It's stupid, right?

[She gestures to her face, but her eyes appear to be ordinary brown.]

It was crazy. I don't recommend it.

And your eyes look pretty normal to me.

I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever stuck in Europe somehow... But here, let me show you.

[She turns from the camera, knowing from previous reactions that pulling your contacts out looks pretty gross, and turns back once she's removed it. One eye is now red.]
